At Diamante Verde Tours we tear the page out of conventional tour books, recycle it and take you beyond ordinary tourist destinations.

We assemble at our Tinamaste's beach road office at 8:00, or at your convenience. However, the earlier the better...

From there, we head into Las Tumbas (Valley of the Tombs) following the Diamante ridge and ancient Indian trails into pure Jurassic Park-like jungle where you will experience pristine waterfalls, crystal-clear mountain pools and stunning vistas. This truly takes you into the untamed Heart of Costa Rica!

We recommend you bring: sun block, sunglasses, hat, camera, fanny-pak for camera, swimwear and BIG smiles. Oh yes, dry clothes for afterwards, because you never know...

This tour takes you up the Diamante Canyon, without the heights, duration and difficulty of our rappelling tour. It is still a moderately strenuous tour and requires the ability to climb a rope/wooden ladder, swim and enjoy the marvels of our planet.

We enter the river from our exclusive private farm and slowly work our way up river, into the Diamante Canyon. You will see ancient trees trapped and worn by the river, huge boulders that somehow have worked their way downriver from who knows where, traverse crystal-clear pools and swim under waterfalls few people will ever experience.

This is possibly one of the rawest, most stunning parts of Costa Rica you will ever see. We take you to the untamed heart of The Real Costa Rica! You have our word on that!

As with our rappelling tour, we are totally at the mercy of Nature and can only run when the river allows us. Generally, from Dec. through May. Please inquire for availability.

Ride through ancient Indian burial grounds and incredible rainforest to pristine waterfalls and make memories last a lifetime!

You aren't grouped with 20 or more other tourists. It's just you, your friends or family, a knowledgeable trail guide and the happiest horses in the area!

First, we will assemble at our Tinamaste Beach Road Office @ 6:30 A.M. for mandatory safety course.

Then we will then be transported into the jungle and dropped a short hike from the river and then we'll proceed down river (which is an adventure in it self!), shooting through natural water chutes, past boulders as big as houses, through untouched Jurassic Park like areas very few people will ever see.

We will then rappel alongside spectacular waterfalls for some of the most exciting descents in the country, floating through pristine jungle pools and steep canyons along the way. Upon exiting the river, you will be treated to a very welcome satisfying lunch and a cold beer if you so desire.

I have had some of the more experienced tour guides in the country tell me, this is one of the best tours they have ever been on. Anywhere. This tour could make your hair turn white, give you a total adrenaline rush or even change your life. It is that cool...you have our word on that.
